Adobe announced today that it is bringing its creative tools to the Slack collaboration platform. Users can enter prompts directly in the Slack chat box to create various types of content.
ITHome learned that Adobe for Slack is currently integrated into Slack. Users can open the Slackbot, select “Manage Apps,” and then add Adobe. Once enabled, users can enter prompts directly in the chat box, such as “@Adobe create a series of seasonal posters for us.”
Slack can then call creative tools including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator to generate corresponding concepts. Users can provide not only text prompts, but also reference chats with other people and shared files to help generate the desired content.
Adobe for Slack can also use data within Slack and search Creative Cloud resources for project assets. The feature is rolling out to global markets starting today and is available to users who subscribe to both companies’ services.
