The latest reports say that Anthropic plans to go public in October, with a valuation expected to surpass SpaceX’s and reach or exceed $2 trillion (approximately RMB 13.51 trillion at the current exchange rate), making it the largest IPO in history.
Industry insiders pointed out that Anthropic secretly submitted IPO-related documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in June and has entered a quiet period. Under this restriction, companies may not publicly release information involving their own financial performance.
This year, Anthropic launched several models that outperform competing products while focusing on sales to enterprise customers. The company announced in May that its annualized revenue had surpassed $47 billion (approximately RMB 317.575 billion at the current exchange rate).
