Time Magazine announced its 2026 list of the 100 most influential people in the global AI field on August 27, marking the fourth year the magazine has published the list.
Well-known figures including Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Elon Musk, Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming, and Fei-Fei Li appeared on the magazine cover.
In addition to Wu Yongming, who appeared on the cover, domestic AI figures included in Time Magazine’s 2026 list of the 100 most influential people in global AI include:

He Tingbo, Huawei board member and president of its semiconductor business
Liang Mengsong, co-CEO of SMIC
