According to Japanese media outlet 4Gamers, RyzaChat: AI and Ryza Create Your Own Midsummer Fantasy Story, an AI chat game licensed by KOEI TECMO Games and developed by SpiralAI, will be delayed.

According to reports, the game was originally scheduled to launch on August 18. However, because pre-registrations far exceeded expectations, the official team decided to improve the server environment so players can experience the game in a stable setting.
The official team emphasized that, in an effort to launch according to the original schedule, the development team continued making adjustments until the last moment before the planned opening. However, after evaluating the current server environment, it decided to adjust the launch date. The developers' current goal is to open the servers next week, with the specific date to be announced later.

According to information obtained by ITHome, the game's story and setting will be based on Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Unlike traditional RPGs, the game lets players progress through battles, travel, and construction by chatting with Ryza.

In addition, all of Ryza's illustrations in the game were drawn by people, with no generative AI used. The voice clips were specially recorded by Yuri Noguchi and are delivered using SpiralAI's voice synthesis technology. The text is generated by the SpiralLLM large language model.
