The official @HonorPhone account announced this evening (25th) that in the 100-meter preliminary race at the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games, Honor’s humanoid robot Vitality won first place with a time of 12.02 seconds and took all top four spots.
In addition, Honor’s humanoid robot Lightning broke through its previous limit in the 100-meter semifinal at the 2nd World Robot Games, running 8.94 seconds and breaking the human record again.
It is worth noting that although Honor’s Lightning robot broke the human record, it was not the fastest competitor in this event. This evening, the first heat of the 100-meter semifinal in the large-size category at the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games once again set a new record. Tiangong, a robot from the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, posted the best time of 8.86 seconds, setting another record.
According to ITHome, the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games are jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government and China Media Group, among others. The event features 50 competitions, including 29 competitive events and 21 scenario-based events. Competitive events include the 100-meter autonomous race, human-robot combat, precision table tennis, powerlifting, and a multi-robot football league.
In the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon held on April 19 this year, Honor’s self-developed Qitian Dasheng team humanoid robot “Lightning” won the title with a net time of 50 minutes 26 seconds. This result surpassed the human men’s half-marathon world record of 57 minutes 20 seconds set by Ugandan star Jacob Kiplimo in March 2026. Honor’s robots also swept the top six places in the event.
