Guan Haitao, HONOR’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, announced today that HONOR’s self-developed robots Lightning and Yuanqizai will officially participate in the 2nd Humanoid Robot Games.
The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games are jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government and China Media Group, among others. The event features 50 competitions, including 29 competitive events and 21 scenario-based events. Notably, the competitive events include the 100-meter autonomous race, human-robot combat, precision table tennis matches, powerlifting, and a multi-robot football league.
At the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon held on April 19 this year, HONOR’s self-developed Qitian Dasheng team humanoid robot “Lightning” won first place with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds. This result surpassed the human men’s half-marathon world record of 57 minutes and 20 seconds set by Ugandan star Kiplimo in March 2026. HONOR’s robots also swept the top six places in the event.
