Its half-marathon time was 50 minutes 26 seconds, breaking the human half-marathon world record.
Its 1500 m time was 2 minutes 30 seconds, breaking the human 1500 m world record.
Its 400 m time was 39.45 seconds, breaking the human 400 m world record.
Its 100 m time was 9.32 seconds, breaking the human 100 m world record.
Its peak speed was 14.5 m/s, surpassing the human maximum speed.
In the large-group 400 m track-and-field event at the second World Humanoid Robot Games, which began on August 22, “Lightning” crossed the finish line in 40.6 seconds, breaking the human world record.
The “Lightning” robot is 169 cm tall, with an effective leg length of 0.95 m. It is equipped with HONOR’s self-developed integrated joint modules, with peak torque reaching 400 N·m, as well as a self-developed liquid-cooling system.
HONOR’s robot research and development team was established about 1 year ago and has grown to more than 200 people. Its work covers the full self-development stack, including complete machines, hardware, and algorithms. HONOR CEO Li Jian said the company will focus on the consumer market and develop three major application scenarios: shopping malls, factories, and homes.
