On August 13, DeepSeek officially announced an update to its API pricing, introducing peak and off-peak rates. Off-peak prices are half the peak-period rates. The new pricing scheme officially takes effect today.
Peak hours are 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00 Beijing time (note: all other hours are off-peak). The new prices took effect at 00:00 Beijing time on August 17, 2026, as detailed below:
