AGIBOT’s official Weibo account just announced that the AGIBOT Expedition A3, taking on the role of a “Taijiquan master,” won the gold medal in the “Wushu – Taijiquan” event at the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games. Its medal tally has now risen to 3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals, placing it first on the medal table.
As ITHome reported yesterday, the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games have officially begun. AGIBOT’s core products, the Genie G2, Lingxi X2, and Expedition A3, are all participating. In several completed events in the “Scenario Competition” category, AGIBOT’s Genie G2 achieved an impressive haul of two gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.
The Expedition A3 uses self-developed joints based on a new-generation architecture, with a total peak current of 150A and instantaneous power of 12kW. Its body has been significantly reduced in weight to 55 kg, and its overall thrust-to-weight ratio can reach 0.218 kW / kg, which it claims is comparable to that of million-yuan supercars.
The Expedition A3 supports backflips and walking in the air, and is natively compatible with AGIBOT’s Lingchuang platform, allowing everyone to create new movements anytime and anywhere, upload and download them with one click, and share them through a content ecosystem. Its rated battery life can reach 10 hours, setting a new industry record. It also supports rapid battery swapping in 10 seconds and continuous operation for 24 hours.
Notably, in June this year, AGIBOT announced that the Expedition A3 had successfully achieved autonomous table tennis play, becoming the world’s first full-size bipedal humanoid robot to complete a table tennis match with fully autonomous decision-making throughout.
