The “Doubao” official account posted today (the 1st) that Tsinghua University’s university-wide course for the 2026 fall semester, “Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Academic Research: Knowledge Production Through Human-AI Interaction,” is open for registration to all students.
According to the introduction, the course will mainly share applications of AI in real-world research workflows and work closely with Doubao to connect cutting-edge large models with academic scenarios, covering stages such as problem discovery, literature review, and data analysis.
Course objectives: The course covers the full research process, from topic selection to publication, and uses human-AI collaboration to complete problem discovery, literature review, data analysis, and publication of results.
Teaching highlights: The course invites leading industry experts and interdisciplinary faculty members to share applications of AI in real-world research based on their own research practices. It will also collaborate closely with Doubao to connect cutting-edge large models with real academic scenarios.
Student co-creation: Students can provide feedback on AI tools at any time, help drive product iteration, and become co-creators of AI academic tools. The course will organize a visit to Doubao, where students can meet face-to-face with frontline engineers.
Target students: All current Tsinghua University students, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from all disciplines.
The teaching team will also extend the Tsinghua classroom online, turning academic practice methods and processes into reusable Skills that will be made available on the Doubao desktop app. Users can open the Doubao desktop app, select “Skills · Connectors · Work Partners” in the upper-left corner, enter the Skills section, select the “Top Universities” section, and try it out.
Doubao previously also co-developed a course with Tsinghua University’s School of Journalism and Communication and served as the AI teaching assistant for the “Social Network Analysis” course.
