Qiyuan Robotics, the consumer-grade embodied intelligence brand under Shangwei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Shangwei New Materials), officially announced a partnership with Blizzard’s World of Warcraft during the 2026 ChinaJoy event, launching the event-limited “Murloc Custom Edition” Qiyuan Q1.
According to the company, the product is based on the modular design and open-source hardware and software capabilities of the Qiyuan Q1 Explorer Edition. At the exhibition, the Qiyuan Q1 World of Warcraft Murloc Custom Edition toured the venue with cosers, making stops at various booths.
Public information shows that the Qiyuan Q1 robot was launched at the end of last year. It stands approximately 80–88 centimeters tall, has 22 degrees of freedom, supports precise movements, and can switch among wheeled-legged, humanoid, and quadruped modes. It is suitable for various indoor and outdoor scenarios and comes with features such as AI subject tracking.
