According to a report today by Blue Whale News, sources familiar with the matter said Huawei Xiaoyi, vivo Blue Heart Xiao V, and HONOR YOYO are moving forward with integration with Alipay’s Abao and have begun testing. Once implemented, the phones’ system-level AI assistants will be able to use the service capabilities of Alipay’s agent.
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Alipay is also discussing similar partnerships with more smartphone brands, aiming to bring Abao integration to mainstream mobile devices.

Publicly available information shows that OPPO and StepFun have already implemented support for Abao.
Alipay and OPPO announced a cross-device agent connectivity partnership in July this year. OPPO smartphone users can use natural-language commands through the system-level AI assistant Xiaobu to directly access nearly 200 everyday services integrated into Alipay’s AI assistant Abao, including movie ticket purchases, food delivery orders, and social security and housing provident fund inquiries.

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Alipay and StepFun reached a system-level partnership enabling cross-device connectivity between Abao, the AI-powered version of Alipay, and StepFun’s large language models and native AI devices.

In early July, Alipay announced the official launch of the Alipay AI Open Platform and opened invitation-only testing to enterprise developers and third-party development service providers. Through the platform, merchants and institutions can integrate with Abao or choose cross-device connectivity, using Abao to connect with smart devices such as smartphones, in-vehicle systems, AI glasses, and IoT products, as well as large model platforms. This enables “one-time integration, multi-device distribution, and unified management.”
