On August 18, AR brand RayNeo officially announced that its new product line, the RayNeo iO Series, is set to debut. The first product in the series, the RayNeo iO AI Glasses, will officially launch at 14:30 on August 21.

During the product warm-up campaign, RayNeo brand ambassador Jiang Qiming joined Li Dan, Ke Jie, Shenqi Ayu, and several other celebrities in wearing the RayNeo iO AI Glasses ahead of their launch. The name “iO” comes from I/O in computing, meaning Input & Output. RayNeo said the series will explore next-generation personal intelligent devices, aiming to use glasses—a device more closely integrated into users’ daily lives—to create a more natural form of interaction between people and the digital world.
The RayNeo iO AI Glasses set to launch this time are officially positioned as “human-augmented AI glasses.” According to the company, they are designed not only to provide information, but also to help people see more, remember more, and express themselves better, truly turning AI capabilities into an extension of human abilities.
In terms of product design, RayNeo has focused on optimizing the long-term wearing experience of smart glasses.
According to the company, RayNeo has redesigned the overall structure, optical system, and frame shape of the iO, compressing the display module into a classic crown frame. Its newly developed waveguide display technology makes the lens display area nearly invisible, allowing information to appear naturally within the user’s field of view. Slim titanium temples paired with a retro frame shape make the glasses look lighter and bring them closer to the appearance of everyday eyewear.
Based on the information currently released, the RayNeo iO adopts a design language similar to that of traditional glasses, paired with slim titanium temples and a retro frame shape.
In addition to hardware design, AI capabilities are another key focus of the RayNeo iO Series. The company said the new products will develop application experiences across three dimensions—knowledge, expression, and memory—to help users acquire and understand information while providing assistance with communication, expression, and content recording.
Before its official launch, the RayNeo iO had already attracted attention through multiple public appearances. Previously, RayNeo collaborated with Urban Chic to release a fashion editorial, in which Fan Wei was the first to appear wearing the RayNeo iO. Later, Jiang Qiming also appeared wearing the product at promotional events related to the film Welcome to Long Restaurant.

Reservations for the RayNeo iO AI Glasses are now open. At 14:30 on August 21, RayNeo will officially launch the new products in the series. Details including the product’s configuration, features, and price will be revealed at that time. IT Home will continue to follow the story.
