These changes will not happen overnight. According to sources, Nothing has already drawn up a phased plan, with the first phase expected to begin in September this year.

Although Nothing has built brand recognition through its uniquely designed smartphones, as competition in the smartphone market continues to intensify and profit margins keep narrowing, the company intends to devote more resources to AI product development. This strategy has reportedly received strong support from Nothing co-founder Carl Pei.

Pei also believes that AI devices will become the company's next major growth opportunity. Sources even said that AI projects have already taken priority over traditional smartphone products within Nothing.

In the first phase, Nothing plans to launch a range of AI products under its own brand and sub-brand CMF. These include clip-on earbuds (CMF Ear Clip Buds), over-ear headphones (Note: Nothing Headphones Gen 2), as well as a smartwatch (Nothing Smartwatch) and smart speakers (CMF Speakers).

Sources said that these products will continue Nothing's family design language and will be released in succession between August and September.
