NVIDIA announced on the 25th local time that it is launching the Jetson Orin Nano 2 robot computer for entry-level edge artificial intelligence. The product is expected to launch in the form of modules and developer kits in 2027H1.
The Jetson Orin Nano 2 uses the same form factor as the Jetson Orin Nano Super, but delivers twice the AI inference computing performance of its predecessor. When performance is limited to the same level as the predecessor, the product consumes only 15W, or 60% of the predecessor's power consumption.
In standard mode, it delivers 78 TOPS of AI performance, integrates an 8-core Arm instruction-set CPU and 8GB of memory, and significantly improves video processing performance.
