Google announced on July 31 that it would make the Gemini Spark agent available to most users worldwide. At the user's direction, the product can organize inboxes, summarize email communications, unsubscribe from mailing lists, and more.
IT Home learned that Spark is a personal AI agent launched by Google. The product has now been integrated with the Chrome browser. After receiving authorization, the agent can use saved account passwords to perform some complex online operations on the user's behalf, such as searching for flights, booking tickets, and checking saved properties.
At the same time, Spark provides two security mechanisms. The agent first defends against prompt injection attacks and leaves sensitive operations such as payments to the user.
Currently, Spark is available in all regions where Gemini is supported, excluding the European Economic Area, Nigeria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. In the United States, users need to subscribe to Google AI Pro / Ultra to use the feature, while users in other regions need an AI Ultra subscription.
