Alibaba's Qwen App launched paid plans for professional users last night, including an Office Assistant subscription membership and a separate credit-based payment option for AI video generation.
The Qwen App offers three Office Assistant membership tiers: Flagship, Elite, and Advanced. The Flagship plan costs 128 yuan per month or 1,499 yuan per year and increases the usage limit by up to 20 times; the Elite plan costs 49 yuan per month or 568 yuan per year and increases the usage limit by up to 5 times; the Advanced plan costs 19 yuan per month or 200 yuan per year and increases the usage limit by up to 2 times. Regular users can also use the service without subscribing to a paid membership.
Qwen's AI video generation feature uses a separate credit top-up payment model, with five limited-time promotional packages. Purchased credits are valid for three months from the date they take effect. The packages include 10 video credits for 26 yuan, 50 credits for 116 yuan, 100 credits for 228 yuan, 200 credits for 438 yuan, and 500 credits for 968 yuan.
On August 7, the Qwen App and PC version introduced multiple new features, including the Office Assistant, and added support for Alibaba's latest flagship model, Qwen3.8-MAX. All users can use these features for free; professional users will also be able to pay for additional Office Assistant usage credits.
