Korean NPU company Mobilint today launched the MLD-R1, an edge AI accelerator in the form of a USB-connected device.
Based on its REGULUS AI SoC, the product provides 10 TOPS of INT8 computing power. It also integrates a 4-core Arm Cortex-A53 @ 1.5GHz CPU and comes with 4GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X-4267 memory. It measures 90×40×16 (mm), its USB interface supports speeds of 5Gbps, and its TDP is 3W. It is claimed to offer IP65 dust and water resistance and support 24×7 all-day use.
Mobilint said that the MLD-R1 supports the Keras, TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch, and ONNX frameworks, is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems, and supports x86, Arm, and even RISC-V host CPUs.
