The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games took place today. In the 400-meter small-class track final, Tiangong Robotics won again, with the on-site result shown as 45.66 seconds.
It is reported that the robot fielded by the Tiangong team in the 400-meter small-class event was the Tiangong Omni. Tiangong Omni stands 1.35 m tall, weighs 39 kg, and has a certain load capacity. It is designed for future scenarios including confined spaces, emergency rescue, and home services. Notably, it features an open secondary-development system, providing open APIs for its joints, sensors, system, and motion control to lower the barriers and costs of low-level development for developers and accelerate application innovation and iteration.
Earlier today, in the 400-meter large-class final, Tiangong Ultra from the Tiangong team won the first gold medal of these World Humanoid Robot Games with a time of 38.15 seconds, once again surpassing the human record.
