2027 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon Opens Global Invitations

Beijing Yizhuang announced today that global invitations are officially open for the 2027 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon.

According to the official announcement, this year’s event will create a broader competitive stage, offer richer event incentives, and set a new benchmark for the competition, inviting leading research and innovation teams from around the world to gather in Yizhuang. The event standards will be upgraded, the invitation scope broadened, the technical assessment criteria raised, and the showcase expanded.

2027 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon Opens Global Invitations

At the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon held this April, the Honor “Lightning” robot from the Qitian Dasheng team won the championship with a net time of 50 minutes 26 seconds.

The 2026 event expanded to nearly 5 times its previous scale, attracting more than 100 teams from 13 provinces across China. Participants included leading companies such as the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Honor, Unitree, and Noetix Robotics, as well as universities and research institutions including Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the University of Science and Technology of China. The event also expanded to include 5 overseas teams. The technologies covered two major categories, autonomous navigation and remote control, with autonomous navigation accounting for approximately 40%. The number of participants, range of participation, and types of technology all reached historic highs.
